Audrey had her six month well baby check-up

We went to the pediatrician on Monday for Audrey's six month well baby check-up.

Her stats are:

Height- 26 1/2 in (75%)

Weight- 14 lbs, 3/4 oz (15%)

Head- 41.4 cm (25%)

This baby is long and lean. She is developing just perfectly and all of her milestones have been pretty much on target. She coos a ton, loves solid food, is sleep trained (mostly), waves, is using her legs for support in her bouncer and is still a roly poly which means crawling isn't too far off. Personally, I'm still waiting for her first teeth to come through and for her to be able to sit up by herself and those are most-likely a month or less away. We looked back at Edison's early months here on the blog a while ago and it seems like these next few months will be the months where Audrey will be developing a lot.

She is a curious baby. She loves to explore everything with her mouth (still) and has a great memory (like when she drops a toy she looks around until she finds it). She loves cuddles, baths, and seeing Jim when he gets home from work.

While at her appointment, we found out that her cold developed into an ear infection. :( So I've been giving her amoxicillin. It's been pretty tough with her being sick. She doesn't like to be laid down because it hurts her ears and she wants to be held all the time. I love holding her, but it's tough to do it ALL the time ontop of taking care of Edison. But we're managing. I just hope she gets a good nights sleep tonight.
