Then while she was eating, I started squeezing fresh juice from this amazing bounty of fruit my uncle gave me that he picked in Florida.

I also heated up some pecan cinnamon rolls homemade by my dad, a yummy breakfast feast!

Meanwhile Edison got up and asked to skip breakfast and open gifts from Santa!

We really didn't have much for the kids since we knew they'd be getting plenty from family, the kids were really excited. Edison received a gift in the mail--- man and lady dolls from our friend Steph in Arizona. He was really excited, even though they aren't the ones he used to have. Here he is inspecting the dolls commenting that they are not the ones he knows but he wants to go play with them!

We filled the stockings with lots of goodies from semi-healthy snacks to silly putty and harmonicas...

My parents also got the kids some soft blocks for the floor-

Now off to celebrate with the Compton's later today....
Merry Christmas,
