Edison's Year 3 Well Baby Check-Up

Jim took Edison to his check-up today.

His stats are:

Height- 36 1/2 inches (25th percentile)

Weight- 33 1/2 pounds (50th percentile)

The doctor quizzed him on his abcs, counting to 10 (he can count to 30) and colors. He did great. She also had him do some physical tasks like touching his toes, hopping on one foot and jumping. She checked his private parts for "lumps" and taught him that people are not allowed to touch his private parts.

She asked Jim about his diet, sleeping, if he brushed his teeth... but Jim didn't need to answer the questions, Edison wanted to do it himself! She was impressed with his talking (she always has been). Before the appointment was over, she asked Edison if he had any questions for her and he sat up really tall and told her about his birthday party, that his grandpas were there, that he had a pinata, that we're moving, that he's going to Chinese school...

The best part of the appointment was picking out a new book. The least favorite part was getting a shot.
