Tooth evidence!

It would have been easy to miss this detail from the previous post, but one of the pictures from the "sippy cup incident" managed to do something that mom and dad have tried unsuccessfully to do for weeks -- capture evidence of Edison's first teeth.

In case you missed it, here is the picture with the important details digitally enhanced.

Edison's first tooth to poke through appears to be his right canine (or tooth #6 according to standard tooth numbering). A couple of days later we could feel (and then see) his lower front two (#24 and #25). His left top canine (#11) is just now barely poking through.

Unfortunately Edison does seem to be having some pain from his teething phase. Mom and dad have had to put Orajel, a contact anesthetic on his gums when he's woken up in the middle of the night crying, chewing on his blanket.

Like the bib says...

- from Dad (really this time!)
