This weekend was fun! We met up with the Comptons for breakfast on Saturday at Toast in Littleton, then went to the Denver Art Museum to look at some art. While walking through the Modern and Contemporary Art floors of the museum, we were tickled to see a friend of ours, Bill Amundson, has a piece in the exhibit.
Here's Aunt Kelli helping put his jacket on after breakfast-
Then Sunday we met up with our favorite friends for brunch at Billys Inn, then home to hang out while Jim insulated the pipes.
Here's some pics Andrew sent us from brunch-
Earlier in the week Jim taught Edison how to HIGH-5, which is awfully cute. We have a video of it and will post it soon. We also spent the week enjoying the beautiful Colorado weather walking around the lake near our house and playing at the park.
As you can see from the picture above, he's teething like crazy. I love that's he's our little baby vampire right now!
Oh, Edison also had his fair share of bonks this past week as he continues to learn to crawl. He still has a big bruise on his cheek from playing with one of his wooden toys on Wednesday. You can see the bonk here (sort of, its my camera phone)-
Its amazing to think that Edison is almost nine months old. This means he will have been in the outside world longer than inside my belly.
Today we went to Composition to get our Valentine's Day picture taken. Check back later this week for a peek at it, SO CUTE!
Tomorrow we're going to run a handful of errands, including hitting up the Tattered Cover for storytime and to pick up a book there on making baby food.
