Our previous post was about the Chinese New Year tradition "hóngbāo."
Since Edison goes to a language school, its been great learning about Chinese culture.
The big Chinese New Year celebration was at his school yesterday. I didn't get photos of Edison up onstage, however, he and his classmates performed a dance for a song about a "happy childhood." If I get some photos from another parent of the kids onstage, I will update.
Jim was also the rockstar of the celebration. He played the drum for the big dragon dance. Here's a bit... you can see Jim in the back left of the video in a white shirt.
Today we went to a Dim Sum Chinese New Year luncheon with his classmates.
2012 is the Year of the Dragon.
